Paleo Gingerbread Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz milk of choice
  • 4 oz strongly brewed coffee
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • In a small sauce pan, heat milk with spices and sugars. Simmer on low until sugars are dissolved and milk is fragrant.
  • While milk is simmering make coffee. You can also substitute 2 shots of espresso for the brewed coffee.
  • Pour coffee into a 16oz mug.
  • Using a milk frother or a small whisk, whisk the warm milk until frothy.
  • Pour spiced milk into mug with coffee. Top with additional nutmeg or cinnamon if desired.
