Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Jar Ingredients
1.5 cups almond flour
1 tbsp coconut flour
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup pecan pieces, roughly chopped
Wet Ingredients
This is what your friend will need to make the cookies!
2 tsps vanilla
1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil
1 egg
sea salt to garnish (optional)
How to Build Your Jar
Add ingredients one at a time to a glass jar.
Tap the jar gently on the counter after each add so ingredients settle into an even layer.
Seal tightly with lid and store in a cool, dry place.
If you’re feeling festive, tie a bow around the top.
Baking Instructions
Empty jar ingredients into a large bowl and whisk together.
In a separate bowl, whisk together vanilla, egg and melted butter.
Pour wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir well with a spatula. There should be no dry spots in the batter.
Chill batter in fridge for at least 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drop spoonfuls of chilled batter onto the parchment lined baking sheet. Flatten dough with back of spoon.
Bake at 350F for 12 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
Sprinkle warm cookies with flake salt, if using.
Allow cookies to cool completely (on a wire rack if possible!) before handling. This sets them up to be chewy and delicious.
