Welcome to my messy, joyful, and perfectly imperfect version of motherhood. I’m a nutritional therapy practitioner and certified pre & postnatal coach. I’m here to help you move through motherhood with ease!
Breakfast is one of the best ways to ensure a good start to the day, especially during pregnancy. Eating a balanced breakfast with protein, fat and vegetables can help curve sweet-treat cravings and keep you energized through the day. Eating breakfast, soon after waking, can also mitigate that pesky morning sickness! With the exhaustion of pregnancy (and early motherhood) making breakfast can be daunting. We’ve compiled our favorite quick and nutritious breakfasts for the mom to be. These delicious meals will help you start your day off strong, get the whole food your growing body needs and maintain energy to go about your day as you please!
Most mornings I’d prefer scrambled eggs and sautéed veggies, but that’s not always possible! Smoothies have been my saving grace on mornings when time to get out the door is short. I love this chocolate raspberry smoothie because it contains protein, healthy fats and veggies!
This smoothie is low in sugar, subtly sweet and gets its has a silky smooth texture from avocado. It is also banana-free and naturally sweetened with raspberry and coconut. It gets an added veggie boost from frozen cauliflower rice. Frozen cauliflower rice might seem like a weird addition to a smoothie, but it creates such an awesome texture without impacting the flavor!
Cinnamon Vanilla Chia pudding is a staple around here, both for breakfast and dessert. Made with full-fat coconut milk, protein and fiber rich chia seeds, and sweetened just with dates, this pudding is healthy balance of fat, protein and a kick of carbs.
Make a batch of this pudding to keep in the fridge for quick nutritious breakfasts through the week!
Get perfect soft-boiled eggs every single time with your Instant Pot! Soft-boiled eggs are a dream to top salads, as a quick snack next to some crunchy veg, and a great fast source of protein on the go.
Grab a cookie and hit the trail with these amazing paleo, vegan and egg-free breakfast cookies. Sweetened with banana and loaded with crunchy walnuts, chia seeds and coconut flakes, these cookies are a big upgrade from the traditional packaged breakfast bar or coffeehouse pastry.
This Sweet Potato Veggie Frittata is perfect for that brunch party you agreed to host before you realized how much time it takes to get you AND your toddler ready in the morning. I love frittatas because they are so simple to make and they look fancy AF when finished. Transform this frittata recipe into the ultimate grab and go breakfast with out mini frittata variation.
